Pregnancy is one of the most beautiful moments in a human's life. I believe it should be celebrated and used to connect with our inner self. Maternity changes everything for some parents to be, it empowers them making them feel like the goddess they really are! Maternity sessions are my new favorite thing and there are so many options to choose from. You may choose a lifestyle session with your significant other or a solo fine art portrait focused shoot. Either way, don't wait until the baby is here to take photos. This is one of the biggest regrets some of my clients have.
One of the coolest things about maternity sessions is that I offer a handful of outfit choices in my exclusive maternity client wardrobe. These are beautiful dresses that fit a wide range of sizes and will make you feel gorgeous. Plus, is a stress free way plan for your session. We all love browsing online for the latest styles, but it is always great to have something available if needed. Most women / parents choose to have their session done anytime from 28 to 36 weeks of gestation. I personally recommend shooting at the end of the 2nd trimester, beginning of 3rd trimester, since the third trimester may be really uncomfortable for some. It is important, however, that you have your session booked by the beginning of the 2nd trimester as availability is limited.
A consultation is offered with every session to discuss location which can be indoors, outdoors, in home or studio or even a special destination. During the consultation we also talk about outfit choices and styling. I recommend having your hair, nails and make up professionally done and a great place to start is contacting Alli Burns, my preferred Hair and Make Up Artist. Alli`s website is and she is located in East Cobb, Georgia. Live outside the area? No problem. We serve clients worldwide and are constantly traveling to major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New Orleans, DC, Miami and Rio de Janeiro to photograph our clients!
