Valentine's Day Picture Ideas

Do you feel love in the air? Valentine's day is almost here, which means it's time to celebrate love! Love comes in all shapes and sizes, and all of them should be cherished.

One of the best wayf of keeping memories alive is through photographs. That's why I always aim to bring forth the true identity of my clients' love for each other, whether it's an engagement session or a family session.

A couple kisses at a field

I mean... Look at Krystal and Jonathan! They look so cute and in love!

Throughout my years as a photographer, I came to learn a lot about prompting my clients to pose in order to get the most out of their sessions. With Valentine's Day coming up, and engagement season at full swing, I started thinking about the best poses I've photographed.

Engagement sessions are always fun and a GREAT opportunity to get both candid and posed pictures, They can take place in various locations and set in different moods to reflect each couple's identity.

A couple holding hands at golden hour. She kisses his hands and he kisses her forehead

Dani and Ben's engagement session took full advantage of the golden hour, and I can't handle how sweet they look together!

A couple holds hands in a parking lot, looking at each other. The landscape behind them includes buildings and a ferris wheel.

Bailey and Reed had their pictures taken downtown Atlanta with urban vibes and great fashion choices.

A black and white picture of a smiling couple. He is giving her a piggyback ride.

Tracey and Kyle's pictures were taken at a farm, and they're so much fun to be around! It definitely shows in the final pictures. I bet this one makes a great addition to their mantelpiece.

A couple dancing at an entrance hall

Lauren and Luke's session at the Harper-Fowlkes House is definitely one for the books. The picture of their dance-slash-twirl is too adorable to be left unseen.

A couple with their brown dog.

And why not include our best friends in the engagement pictures? Eleanor and Andrew brought their adorable pup to their session, and look at hou amazing their picture looks!

Moving on to couple's pictures at family and maternity sessions, there are many options to express the sweetness an joy of family time.

Asia and Holly documented the sweet sweet wait for baby Clarke during golden hour. So much love!

The Kudelkas enjoyed their fall session, and the pictures turned out great! I love how simple and yet sophisticated these turned out.

Another way to express love is sensuality, and boudoir pictures are a great idea if you want to make things a little more interesting. Gifting a session to your significant other or gift the pictures themselves are great ideas for that!

I love how the pictures from this session turned out sophisticated and beautiful.

I really hope you enjoyed these pictures, and that they can be a source of inspiration for your future sessions! Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and I'd love to photograph you and your loved ones!

See you!
