Erin and Jordan are one of the sweetest couples ever! We met to chat about their wedding at their apartment complex which is over the top beautiful with access to the Chattahooche River and offers different nature trail options and a hip coffee shop. They moved from Texas to Georgia kind of out of the blue looking for a change. It seems the move was great for these lovebirds who were made for each other! Erin is a total girl boss Southern Belle and Jordan is a sweet future lawyer that knows what he wants: a lifetime of happiness with this blond bombshell by his side!
Erin and Jordan had their rehearsal at the elegant Georgian Terrace Hotel where they also spend the morning getting ready for their special day. The bride was surrounded by her best friends and new sisters in law whom were so excited to celebrate with her. The wedding was chic, southern, fun and the perfect blend of classic and modern. Her wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous and the quality of it was really impressive. The Wedding Angels Bridal Boutique in Roswell did an amazing job culling their collection!
If you know Erin, you know she does a great job with decor and has impeccable style which made it effortless for me to photograph all the special details included in her day. Green is definitely her color, so I aimed to preserve the beautiful tones she loves the most! Keep scrolling to see more!
If you want to talk bridesmaids goals, the photos above just proved the Messer-Still squad just nailed it! The wedding party was just beautiful and so supportive of the bride and groom.
Who doesn't love bridal photos at beautiful stairs? Luckily we had some time for Erin to read the beautiful letter her groom wrote her and take a couple of photos at this real staircase.
Now, about the groom...
The Best Dressed Groom Award goes to... drumroll... Jordan! Hands down the most stylish and original groom to date! I love you all but the velvet tuxedo and shoes (no socks required!), bowtie and classically groomed mustache was too much to handle! And thanks to our competent and experienced photography team, you get amazing photos of the bride and groom! Rhayssa did an amazing job capturing this! And this is only one of the reasons why I love working with her.
The Trolley Barn provides greta convenience for being one of the most sought after venues in town, but also hosts an amazing garden with tons of greens making it a beautiful scenary for bridal photos, formals and even for the ceremony itself. Every year, I have shot multiple weddings at this venue and have loved every one of them! The Trolley Barn can be super versitile and has capacity for plenty of guests.
Here comes the Bride! I can just add this was the perfect day for this Fall wedding? In mid November and the gardens were still green! Hence the temperatures dropped drastically after sunset, it still looked like Spring in the middle of Autumn. The anticipation in the groom`s face before his beloved walks down the aisle is priceless.
And they lived happily ever after... but first, more photos and then the party!
I just love all signature cocktails and how couples incorporate their pets in their wedding. Having them present or naming drinks after them is just too cool to pass on!
The Reception was obviously lit and having a live band was one of the best decisions the bride and groom could have made for this wedding! They were amazing and allowed the groomsmen to suddenly take over the stage and perform "Don`t stop believing'" by Journey! As you can see, even the father of the bride had a blast! Another great decision was hiring a wedding planner/coordinator to alleviate the stress of the day and help passing on fun glow sticks and sparklers for the exit. Wedding coordinators are ALWAYS a go! Just make sure to hire a fun trustworthy professional and you'll double the fun during your day. I support this idea!
Question: children in weddings... YES YES YES! I love seeing children enjoying a good wedding with their family and it also tells me a lot about the couple themselves! With children present it is also less likely that the party would get out of control and guests are usually more respectful and fun to interact with. Plus just look at all the cute photos of the flower girls and ring bearers having the time of their lives above. All the heart eyes!
And now...
The Exit!
All amazing weddings come to an end and this one was EPIC!!!
Check out the excitement in Erin`s face! These are my favorite photos of the whole wedding for sure. I love sparkler exits and recommend them all the way. Just make sure to have extra extra long sparklers and you'll be fine. You can get those online or at firework stores. Also have a proper place to dispose them and let your guests know ahead of time how things are going to go. Some guests may be tired and tipsy at this point so proceed with caution but enjoy the moment! Because "Baby, You're a FIREWORK!"
That's when the wedding ends but the MARRIAGE begins and here is to a very very long and everlasting union for these two!
